Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Transcript API service ("Service") operated by Vibe Coding Academy ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Service provides an API for transcribing video content. We act as an intermediary to process audio and return text transcriptions. The Service is provided "as is" without guarantees of accuracy, availability, or fitness for any particular purpose.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • One active API key is permitted per account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service to transcribe content you do not have rights to access or process.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the API.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
  • Use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
  • Resell or redistribute API access without our written permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service.

5. Rate Limits and Fair Use

The Service implements rate limits to ensure fair access for all users. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your API access. Current limits are documented in the Developer Guide.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and documentation, is owned by Vibe Coding Academy. You retain ownership of any content you submit for transcription. We claim no ownership over your transcribed content.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may interact with third-party platforms including YouTube. Your use of such platforms is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for third-party services or content.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may also delete your account at any time.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
